Who called me? Got a call from 85002

  My husband has had a text from 85002 on his phone bill for £8.51. Who is this text from??? Anybody help??

  Its a company called "Boku" <br /><br />Its a charging service to gain extra credit in online games..<br /><br />My arsehole boyfriend runs up £200 bills with it

  My daughter has this on her phone bill too and she says it's a game she's been playing.

  My 14 year old son has just had a bill for his Mobile with O2 and there is the mystery 85002 number and the £8.51 plus VAT charge. What the hell is it ?<br />I also read about SMS Butler.<br />I have looked on the internet and it says to stop it send a text STOPFIT to 85002 or 88339 depending on which network you are with. <br />This happened to my son before and cost me £50 to get rid of. I complained to O2 but they could not give a stuff really.

  same thing happened to my dads phone and he thinks it was me. and i don't know what to do.....anyone know what i should do? it is charging him like £56 a month or something like that.

  The exact same thing happened to me, my parents think that i am messing around and they took my phone off me for ever =( . i told them that i din't do it but they don't believe me, is there anything i could do to prove to them that i did not do it?

  Not too sure but we also had this problem on mother in laws phone. It was originated from a txt too 83399. Once this txt had been sent it then sent one back from 85002 charging £10 subscription (8.51 + vat). The network company we are with tried to see who it was with but the number was registered to too many different people. ie. if you txt FIT to 83399 it is a diet helpline that send you advice and tips about dieting. It is called SMS Butler and it charges £10 as a one of charge, but my mother in law was charged everytime she text the number so I ruled this one out lol.<br />There is also Model UK finalist. You txt star and then the number of the finalists for your vote. Although I can't see it being more than a few pence per vote. The only other one I found was SMS Dating connect2cupid you txt find then ur postcode however I cant find any charges for the sms dating but online they charge £19.99 for a month so I guess I have not really been much help lol. It all depends what was txt the the number in the first place. If you can find out what word was txt to 83399 to get the message back from 85002 you should be able to find out which company it is for.
