  I am receiving the same text message from 44999 for a trivia question!  You cannot delete the message without having to download it and now I am receiving a 9.99 program charge on my cell phone bill. What can I do to get rid of the charge?

  I tried calling and requested them to stop and I still am getting them.  The wonderful people at Verizon have placed a block on all texts that come in this way.  Now to find out who submitted my number seeing as it wasn't me.

  I do not have text messaging on my AT&T cell phone service and I am charged for these messages.  I have replied "STOP" and "BLOCK", but they still keep coming through.  I have also selected "block text messaging" on my AT&T web account.

  I was also receiving the same charges from 44999.  I replied "stop" to the text number and immediately received a confirmation that I was unsubscribed and would no longer be billed for this application...

  I have one, too.<br />Did you happen to play some IQ test on the internet?<br />It might have said that "put your phone number to see your IQ test result"<br />This is the only thing I can think of.<br />I PLAYED the stupid game just for fun and have to pay $9.99 for premium text message.

  I called AT&amp;T customer service. They put a block on 44999 for free. They said if you ever answered a message online that asked for your cell number, you are being spammed. Wish I could remember if I did something stupid like that.

  I called the 1-800 number and found out the texts and charges are from a company called Mobile Messaging.  Not sure how they got my number, but all you have to do is enter your phone number and they will cancel all future txt mgs and charges.

  I get the same billing and have to call AT&amp;T every month to get the 9.99 charge reversed. I don't even subscribe for text messaging.

  I got these texts too.  So I called T-mobile and they said to reply to them <br />"stop"  two seconds later I got another text saying I was unsubscribed.

  We too received a $9.99 charge on our March US Cellular bill. The description shows 2/24/09 Subscription-who will i marry-44999.  We don't know where this is coming from.  The IQ test on the internet may be a possiblity.  We contacted US Cellular they can't refund the March but they did make it so we can't do "Premium Texting" on our phone.

  I was getting the same texts from this number.  I called the number at the end of the text (18004166129) and let it ring for a very long time and eventually someone answered.  She stated she cancelled my service and gave me her name..Navia and direct extension 4822.  I hope this helps some of you out there.

  I did the "stop" thing and it worked I have verizon... <br />I took an IQquiz on facebook I think that was it.<br />Thanks for the help it's been 6 months of these texts.

  Called the 1-800 help number and told them to cancel whatever I had subscribed to. They did, no hassle and gave me a confirmation #. They did confirm it was from taking an on line IQ test! Get your Confirmation # and call back if it keeps happening.
