  I recieved a call on my home telephone number. The caller id listed it as a North Carolina call and im in Wisconsin. So i called the number back and it said that there will be an upcoming delivery and an adult signature is required. So I hope this helps you!!!

  I was a bit concerned since the number being called was my cell phone...<br />but YES! It is UPS saying they have a package to be delivered that is either COD or requires a signature. There isn't any personal info for your delivery specifically. But I guess they must have a lot of attempts to deliver and no one is there to accept it thus they try again for 2 more days.

  The call was from UPS. I couldnt answer in time, but when I checked the message, a UPS automated computer voice gave the tracking number and informed me that a signature was needed for delivery of a package. It even estimated the time of possible delivery. Awesome service. Now if my lazy employees worked that hard....!

  Received a call from this number.  No message, just a call.  I am expecting a UPS package tomorrow and I would not have know what this call was without reading info on this site. UPS should leave some sort of message (voice or text).

  I just received a call on my cell from 336-332-7835, on Sunday, 1-25-09, 12:03pm PST. Same M.O. of no message. I will wait to see if there actually is an alleged 'UPS' attempt. We also have a local UPS store in our area, so I will ask them about this supposed number.  I can't fathom a call from North Carolina, all the way to Washington State....

  It is UPS.  If you call the number back, they are giving you information about a package that may need either cod, or a signature.

  It is UPS calling. I am expecting a package tomorrow that requires a signature. I didn't answer the call, but called and got the recording. UPS should leave an automated message as well!

  Caller ID was UPS, but didn't pick up the phone in time, and the answering machine picked up instead.  No message left.  But, I'm expecting packages tomorrow from UPS that require signatures, so it must have been that recording.

  message left on answering machine Thurs. 12-4-08, saying a package delivery was scheduled for Fri. 12-05-08 and it required a signature...since I am expecting a package of perishables, I made it a point to be home both Friday and Saturday...and have received no package...when I try to call the number listed on caller id. the message says the number has been disconnected

  is definitely from UPS. I too wish they would have left a message but I was expecting the call.I have recieved several packages that require signature and have always been notified via phone as to the delivery date so I would be there to receive it.
