  I had the same call, asked if I was Julie xxxx, when I said yes they hung up, tried to ring back number and it was unavailable?

  Just been rang from this number and asked for my wife by her first name and said it was the Guidance Office. When I started to question the woman she hung up. I have just spoken to my phone provider and they say it is a number abroad and it is a scam if you phone back which I did. My provider said nothing could be done but would pay me back the money if it is a large amount. Hope this helps.

  someone called my home from this number - my wife answered and I was asked for by name - she told them I was at work and wanted to know if there was a message.  The caller said their name was Bob and wanted to know "if i was going to the pub tonight" - then hung up

  Keeps ringing but if we don't answer and it goes to answer phone it cuts itself off so caller is unknown!

  got a call asking to speak to my wife from 00845406071 but this has the international calling code for Vietnam !!!! i guess they dont bother with TPS :)

  I didn't catch the first line but after reading above "the guidance office" sounds similar. Used my name and asked if I was struggling to make payments on a credit card (which he named). I said no, he said thankyou and ended the call just as I was asking where he was from again.
